I spent the weekend visualizing my idea in Figma. Only to render my fresh-off-the-press screen design with lovable.dev Sunday evening. Fast forward 2 hours, I had the design refined multiple times and implemented across six different sections of my app. Work I never got to in Figma, or I'd still be doing now 4 days later if I had to refine pixels.
The Workflow of playing with it, seeing it, and feeling it is many, many, many times faster than trying to make the perfect pixels first.
Figma will eventually become irrelevant unless it takes a loveable-esque approach to UI design and bringing experiences into reality. Why play with a manually wired-up interactive demo when you can just render it for real and play with it? And then get the development workflow is close to done in the process? Win!
Its magnitudes faster, better and more efficient. I truly hope Figma finds a path. Love the product, but a cars are just faster than a horses.
